About TCS NQT :
The TCS NQT (National Qualifier Test) is a national-level recruitment exam conducted by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to hire fresh graduates for various technical roles. Based on performance, candidates are offered Prime, Digital, or Ninja roles.
Important Dates – TCS NQT 2026 :
- Registration Start Date: 16 February 2026
- Registration Last Date: 20 March 2026
- Test Start Date: 10 March 2026 onwards (in phases)
Note: Even though the exam starts on 10 March, registration remains open until 20 March. Candidates registering later may get test dates in late March or early April depending on slot availability.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification :
- BE / B.Tech
- ME / M.Tech
- MCA
- M.Sc (Computer Science / IT related)

Academic Criteria :
- Minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA in:
- 10th
- 12th
- Graduation
- Postgraduation (if applicable)
Additional Criteria :
- No active backlogs at the time of selection
- Maximum 24 months education gap allowed
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply
- Age limit: 18 to 28 years

Total Duration: 190 Minutes
Part A – Foundation Section (75 Minutes) :

- Advanced Coding
Performance in both sections determines the offer category.
Salary Details (Approximate CTC) :
- Prime: ₹9 – ₹12 LPA
- Digital: ₹7 – ₹8 LPA
- Ninja: Lower entry-level package (varies by role)
Final package depends on performance in test and interview rounds.
